function randomIntegers(min, max, count) { return Array.from({ length: count }, () => Math.floor(Math.random() * (max - min + 1)) + min); }

Usage

usage.js
const values = randomIntegers(1, 100, 10);
values.length; // → 10
values.every(n => Number.isInteger(n) && n >= 1 && n <= 100); // → true

Lines marked → were executed in Node.js 22 and in headless Chromium, and each result was compared with the value shown. Lines marked e.g. are illustrative.

Know the limits

  • Values can repeat. For distinct values, shuffle a range and take the first count, as in Get random items of an array.

The function above is the code the usage lines run. It does not validate its arguments; add checks where it receives untrusted input.
