## Implementation

```javascript
function toCamelCase(text) { return text.trim().replace(/[-_\s]+(.)?/g, (_, char) => char ? char.toUpperCase() : ''); }
```

## Input

```json
"idempotency key"
```

## Expected output

```json
"idempotencyKey"
```

## Edge case

Input:
```json
"--leading"
```
Output:
```json
"Leading"
```

## Limits

- A leading separator uppercases the first letter, as the edge case shows. The first word is otherwise kept as typed.

The lab validates types and size before calling this function. Add equivalent validation at your own trust boundary.
