Canonical: https://1loc.dev/string/check-if-a-string-is-a-palindrome/
Version: 1.0.0
Runtime: JavaScript · Node.js 22 / modern browsers
Verification: Local fixtures; no external services
Updated: 2026-10-28

## Implementation

```javascript
function palindrome(value) { return value === Array.from(value).reverse().join(''); }
```

## Input

```json
"level"
```

## Expected output

```json
true
```

## Edge case

Input:
```json
""
```
Output:
```json
true
```

## Limits

- Case, punctuation, spaces and Unicode normalization are significant.
- This is a literal comparison, not a language-aware word game.

The lab validates types and size before calling this function. Add equivalent validation at your own trust boundary.
