## Implementation

```javascript
function roundNearest({ value, nearest }) { return Math.round(value / nearest) * nearest; }
```

## Input

```json
{
  "value": 102,
  "nearest": 5
}
```

## Expected output

```json
100
```

## Edge case

Input:
```json
{
  "value": 1.25,
  "nearest": 0.1
}
```
Output:
```json
1.3
```

## Limits

- Math.round rounds .5 up, toward +∞. Fractional steps can produce floating-point noise.

The lab validates types and size before calling this function. Add equivalent validation at your own trust boundary.
